USK Zürich: Sketchwalk im Stadtpark Uster (ZH) am 31. August 2024

Es geht wieder raus aus der Stadt in einen weiteren Vorort von Zürich, diesmal nach Uster. Der Grund ist eine Kooperation der Stadt- und Regionalbibliothek Uster mit dem Verein Reforestation World: „Zeichne einen Baum - wir pflanzen ihn!“. Da lassen wir uns doch nicht zwei Mal bitten und sind gerne mit von der Partie, oder?

Wir treffen uns in der Bibliothek und werden nach einer offiziellen Begrüssung gemeinsam zum Zeichnen in den nur wenige Schritte entfernten Stadtpark gehen. Dort gibt es für jeden etwas. Jede Menge Bäume, fliessende und stehende Gewässer, das altehrwürdige «teckti Brüggli» und alles von teils historischen und teils modernen Gebäuden eingerahmt. Vom HB Zürich erreicht ihr den Treffpunkt in rund 20 Minuten via S5 (10:24), S9 (10:28) oder S15 (10:39).

Bitte bringt dem Wetter angemessene Kleidung und Ausrüstung mit sowie euer eigenes Zeichenmaterial, und wer mag, auch einen kleinen Stuhl. Keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Anschließend treffen wir uns wieder und teilen unsere Ergebnisse.

Heading out of the city again, this time to another suburb of Zurich, specifically Uster. The reason is a collaboration between the Uster City and Regional Library and the Reforestation World association: "Draw a tree - we'll plant it!" We won't let this opportunity pass us by and are happy to join in, right?

We will meet at the library and, after an official welcome, will head to the nearby city park to draw together. There’s something for everyone there: plenty of trees, flowing and still waters, the venerable "teckti Brüggli" bridge, all framed by a mix of historic and modern buildings.
You can reach the meeting point from Zurich main station in about 20 minutes via the S5 (10:24), S9 (10:28), or S15 (10:39).
