It was cold, it was mostly rainy and windy, but it was great! About 500 people from 44 nations. Looking forward for the next one in Chicago! :-D
Here a picture of a big part of the Swiss team. Other Swiss we have met during the symposium. From left to right: Lotti, Bertrand, Maurice, Mario, Christian, Lalita, Heidi, Juliana (me) and Samuel.
Heidi and me during the reception at the Town Hall. Wonderful place to start!
Urban Sketchers Switzerland! Some Swiss that joined the symposium were missing here!
The great Liz Steel (Australia).
Sketching in Liz's workshop.
Stephanie Bower's workshop in the Town Hall.
Freezing Shari Blaukopf's workshop at Castlefields.
English summer: even the Canadian Shari Blaukopf was complaining about the cold!
Shari's workshop with Maurice Perry and Arno Hartmann.
Norberto Dorantes and his funny face! (Argentina).
On the way to the sketch place (a bus only for us!).
Having a good time with Arno Hartmann (Germany) and Maurice Perry (Switzerland, Genève).
Almost always together: Heidi Zurbucher and me.
Again together in the last evening at the Manchester School of Art.
Outside of the school during the last sketch crawl. A sketcher played the flute.
A lot of people for the group picture. That's me in the middle.
That's the group: about 500 people from 44 nations. Incredible.
During the reception of the last evening we couldn't resist to make a last sketch.
That was the party at the school: some people danced, others kept sketching...
Dinner with a part of the Swiss group.
Part of the Swiss group. Mario Leimbacher just disappeared from the photo.
