USK Symposium Manchester

Nun bin auch ich wieder zu Hause und komme endlich dazu, meine Zeichnungen einzuscannen. Es war ein toller Event. Für mich das erste Symposium und hoffentlich nicht das letzte!
Schon Manchester alleine ist eine Reise wert. Eine spannende Stadt, alt und neu dicht nebeneinander, und viele reizvolle Ecken für Urban Sketchers.

Es war einfach toll, überall auf andere Zeichner zu treffen, und unglaublich inspirierend, die vielen Gespräche, die Workshops, die offene Atmosphäre. Und trotz des schlechten Wetters waren einfach alle gut drauf.

Brücken, Kanäle, Boote – wer das liebt, wird auch das Viertel «Castlefield» lieben.

 

 Der Kontrast von alt und neu macht die Faszination in Manchester aus.
Im Hintergrund das Hilton (wo ich nicht übernachtet habe).

Ständig und überall waren Leute am Zeichnen, das steckt einfach an.
(Die Band sah übrigens tatsächlich so aus!)

 

 

Am Sonntag habe ich es dann tatsächlich mal in ein anderes Viertel geschafft. (Northern Quarter)

It was cold, it was mostly rainy and windy, but it was great! About 500 people from 44 nations. Looking forward for the next one in Chicago! :-D
