Pencil and ink
A couple of weeks ago I thought it was time to try something else than the fountain pen and started sketching with a 8B pencil instead. Getting used to it was much easier than I first thought although I still tend to focus on lines rather than tonal values, which is what I really wanted to exercise. I also tried a japanese brush, but it was a rather frustrating experience...
