Zürich, tramway line 15 at Buecheggplatz
It was not so easy to draw this one. As tramways usually do not stand still for a long time. But I found an ideal spot for a sketch at the final destination of Buecheggplatz (where they turn in a circle and are heading back for Klusplatz). And I was lucky as well that they use just one type of vehicle on line 15, as one of the drivers explained. So I could draw each one as long as standing there – for a few minutes, had a 5 minutes break after until the next had arrived. My perspective was just a few meters ahead of the tram. So I suddenly had to stand up and leave my place on the rails each time when they closed the doors and started blinking.

Well done, the colouring is also beautiful !
ReplyDeleteSuper! This perspective of the tram is great. I think the Bucheggplatz would be a good place to draw anyway with it's Trams, people and the cool overhead pathways. Maybe one day...
ReplyDeleteThat's impressive. I wish you all the best in the exhibition. Still not sure if I can pass by... for sure not on Friday or Saturday but will try on Sunday.
ReplyDeletejust wonderful!
ReplyDeletethank you guys, I will build up the exhibition today (as tonight is the vernissage). This drawing will be shown as well. Would be a pleasure to meet you there – and don't forget your sketchbooks.
ReplyDeleteMagnifique rendu de la perspective et des couleurs !
