Digital sketching

A few months before purchasing my first sketchbook, I downloaded a drawing application on my mobile phone. I started drawing what I saw when I was outside. It was actually already urban sketching, without knowing it. I draw with my fingers on the screen. It was kind of microscopic, but I had the possibility to zoom in to draw details and it was very easy to erase/retry the last strokes I did. I am know much more satisfied to draw on paper, with pens and ink, but it was a nice start in the realm of urban sketching. Cleaning the memory of my mobile phone, I just found 3 of these pictures.

A train depot near my house, in Basel St-Johann. It was destroyed last month.

  1. Schon erstaunlich, was Du auf Deinem mobile phone zustande gebacht hast!

Old style. :-))
