Dying pen

My regular pen, the Pilot V-ball 0.5, is extremely quick and precise. No matter how fast you sketch or how much pressure you apply, it will always make a perfect, smooth regular line. I like that consistency but lately is getting kind of boring. Yesterday I switched to an old, dying staedtler. Every line took patience. It was frustrating in the beginning, relaxing after a while, and frustrating again after a longer while.
