I am preparing my workshop for the USK Switzerland Symposium. It will be about ‘4 × L‘. Looking forward to be part of the community from tomorrow on and to meet a lot of other sketchers in Geneva. :-) 

The two sketches show two worlds, the architectural contrast here in the greater Zurich area, both part of my everyday life --- Stadt: Zürich Kreis 4 Friburger Fonduestübli, just a around my office --- Land: a beautiful farmhouse near Affoltern a.A., a true beauty ---

War heute für eine Sitzung am Bodensee unterwegs. Auf der Rückreise habe ich die Gelegenheit genutzt und in Konstanz gezeichnet – das wollte ich schon lange einmal machen. Konstanz hat eine tolle und lebendige Altstadt. Ich freue mich sehr, dieses Jahr wieder beim Symposium dabei zu sein. In diesem Zusammenhang sammle ich für meinen Workshop aktuell Inspiration und Ideen für lebendige, beseelte Aquarellskizzen. Besonders freue ich mich auf Carouge – ein perfektes und inspirierendes Stadtquartier in Genf, um urbane Szenen mit Leben einzufangen.

I was on a business trip at Lake Constance today. On the way back, I took the opportunity to sketch in Konstanz – something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. Konstanz has a beautiful and lively old town. I’m really looking forward to being part of the symposium again this year. Right now, Regarding my own workshop I’m gathering inspiration and ideas for lively, soulful watercolor sketches. I’m especially excited about Carouge – a perfect and inspiring neighborhood in Geneva to capture vibrant urban scenes.
