Es ist Pflanzen-Sketching angesagt!  Die Urban Sketchers Luzern zeichnen im Schaugarten der Gärtnerei Schwitter in Inwil. Bei den über 10'000 Pflanzen hat es bestimmt für jeden etwas dabei.
Wichtig: die Gärtnerei ist am Sonntag geschlossen, nur der Garten ist offen. Es gibt darum auch keine Toilette dort. Die nächste ist entweder beim Restaurant Tell (10 Minuten) oder beim Bahnhof Gisikon-Rot (15 Minuten).

Anfahrt mit ÖV:
Mit dem Zug bis Gisikon-Root, und von dort ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss.
 
Dieses Treffen war ursprünglich für Ende Juli geplant. Wir hoffen jetzt auf besseres Wetter. Sollte es am 4. August ebenfalls nicht schön sein, wird spätestens am Sonntagmorgen auf Instagram und auf dem Blog bekannt gegeben, wenn es nicht stattfindet.

Das Treffen ist für alle, die gerne zeichnen. Man muss sich nicht anmelden und es kostet auch nichts. Einfach eigenes Zeichen-Material mitbringen und los geht’s.

Sketchcrawl, Sabato 19 Ottobre a Bellinzona

 

Siamo felici di potervi invitare al nostro incontro annuale a Bellinzona. L’anno scorso purtroppo l’abbiamo annullato per via della chiusura del tunnel del San Gottardo. Quest’anno il tunnel sarà finalmente riaperto il 2 di Settembre.

Trovate di seguito il programma:

 

Ci incontriamo in Piazza del Sole e subito saliamo a disegnare nel  parco centrale di Castelgrande( c’e l’ascensore da Piazza del Sole) .

Castelgrande offre una infinita quantita di di postazioni per disegnare. Ci sono tanti angoli suggestivi delle torri Bianca e Nera e anche della lunga murata. Se volete potete anche ispirarvi con una bella vista dal alto del centro storico.

Di pomeriggio l’idea é di disegnare nel centro storico dove sarà finito il mercato del mattino. Sgombro di bancarelle il centro di Bellinzona e piccolo ma molto ricco di dettagli incantevoli.

In caso di brutto tempo non ci saranno problemi per trovare degli opzioni al coperto.(I cambiamenti saranno annunciati su Instagram)

We are happy to be able to invite you to our annual meeting in Bellinzona. Last year we unfortunately cancelled it due to the closure of the Gotthard tunnel. This year the tunnel will finally be reopened on 2 September.

Please find below the programme:

 

We meet at the Piazza del Sole and immediately go up to draw in the park of Castelgrande (there is an elevator from Piazza del Sole). Castelgrande offers an endless amount of drawing stations.There are many picturesque corners of the White and Black towers and also of the long fortress wall. From Castelgrande there is also a beautiful aerial view of the old city .

In the afternoon the idea is to draw in the old town where the morning market will be over. Uncluttered with stalls the center of Bellinzona is small but very rich in charming details. 

 

In case of bad weather there will be no problem in finding alternative options. (Changes will be announced on Instagram )

Samstag, 26. Oktober 2024, Sketchcrawl Wettingen

Auch dieses Jahr gibt es wieder eine Kooperation mit der Gemeinde Wettingen!

Seit 2019 bietet die Galerie im Gluri Suter Huus in Wettingen uns Urban Sketchers jährlich eine Plattform, um im Rahmen einer thematischen Ausstellung unser Schaffen öffentlich zu präsentieren. Dieses Jahr geht es tief ins Gehölz – unter dem Motto «Wald werden». 

Dazu gibt es einen 1. SKETCH CRAWL am
Samstag, 17. August 2024, 14 – 16.30 Uhr.
Treffpunkt: Bushaltestelle Brunnenwiese, Wettingen (Endstation RVBW-Linie 3).

Die entstandenen Werke (auf einzelnen Blättern) können dann gleich für die Ausstellung abgegeben werden.

Im Oktober gibt es einen 2. SKETCH CRAWL:

Sketchcrawl, Sabato 20 Luglio a Locarno

 

Il nostro prossimo incontro sara al chiostro della Chiesa Nuova in via Cittadella 17 in Città Vecchia. E prevista una giornata molto calda, per questo motivo iniziamo presto. Spero vi piacerà, per me è un luogo magico è anche luogo fresco e tranquillo.
Speriamo di vedervi numerosi!

Our next meeting will be at the cloister of the Chiesa Nuova on Via Cittadella 17 in the old town. It is expected to be a very hot day, which is why we are starting early. I hope you will enjoy it,  it is a magical place, and it is also a cool and quiet place.

Sketchwalk: Bois de la Bâtie, Samedi 27 Juillet

 

Ce mois-ci, nous nous retrouverons au Bois de la Bâtie le samedi 27 juillet à 11h. Le point de rencontre sera à côté du WWF Panda Club au centre du parc (lieu). Le parc animalier, les points de vue et les espaces verts sont ouverts aux croquis.

Comme toujours, veuillez amener votre matériel de dessin:

• Carnet/Bloc de papier,

• Crayons, gomme, stylos,

• Aquarelle, pinceaux,

• Tabouret pliant, chevalet de campagne,

• etc...

This month, we'll be meeting at Bois de la Bâtie on Saturday, July 27 at 11am. The meeting point will be next to the WWF Panda Club in the center of the park (pinned location). The animal park, viewpoints and green spaces are open for sketching.

Sonntag 14. Juli 2024, Zeichnen bei der Villa Krämerstein, Kastanienbaum (Luzern)

Wir versuchen es nochmals und zeichnen im Park der Villa Krämerstein in Kastanienbaum. Irgendwann muss es ja mal Sommer werden! ;-)

Die Villa ist zwar privat, aber der Park ist öffentlich und hat Seezugang – falls jemand baden möchte. Mit dem Bus ist der Ort ab Luzern in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Die Haltestelle «Krämerstein» ist gleich beim Parkeingang, wo auch der Treffpunkt ist.
Das Haus auf der Skizze ist übrigens nicht die Villa, sondern nur ein Nebengebäude unten am See. :-) Zur Info: es gibt Toiletten im Park, aber kein Restaurant.

Wer Lust hat, bringt ein Picknick mit.

Wir hoffen auf gutes Wetter. Bei schlechtem Wetter findet das Treffen nicht statt. Spätestens am Sonntagmorgen wird auf Instagram und auf dem Blog bekannt gegeben, wenn es abgesagt wird.

After work sketchwalk: Brunswick Monument

 

Nous essayons quelque chose de nouveau avec le temps chaud et la longue lumière du soir ! Après le travail, nous nous retrouverons au monument de Brunswick le mardi 9 juillet à 18 heures. Le point de rencontre sera au pied du monument (clickez ici). Le monument, la promenade au bord de l'eau et le café voisin sont ouverts aux croquis.

We are trying something new with the warm weather and long evening light! After work, we'll be meeting at the Brunswick Monument on Tuesday, July 9 at 6pm. The meeting point will be at the base of the monument (pinned location). The monument, waterfront promenade, and neighboring cafe are open for sketching.

7th Swiss Urban Sketchers' Symposium, Geneva 2025

 

Nous avons reçu le crayon: nous allons organiser le 7ème symposium suisse des urban sketchers à Genève.

A moins d'un imprévu, il aura lieu la première semaine de septembre 2025.

Le dernier jour, nous remettrons le crayon aux représentant de la ville qui aura été sélectionnée pour 2026.

La première chose dont nous avons besoin est d'un lieu pouvant recevoir 300 personnes, si possible près du centre et qui ne nous coûte pas un bras et une jambe.

Si vous connaissez un tel endroit, faites-le nous savoir.

We have received the pencil: we will organise the 7th Swiss urban sketchers' symposium in Geneva.

Barring something unforeseen, it will take place the first week of September 2025.

On the last day, we will hand over the pencil to the representatives of the city that will have been selected for 2026.

The first thing we need is a venue capable of hosting 300 persons, if possible close to the center and that would not cost us an arm and a leg.

If you know such a place, please let us know.
