Mattenlift und Treppe in Bern

Donnerstag und Freitag vor Abstimmungen und Wahlen kann man (alle, auch alle "Ausländer"!) in Bern jeweils via Stimmlokal durch den Erlacherhof und in den Garten. Von dort sieht man über alle Terrassengärten und die Aare und zur Münsterterasse hinüber, mit Mattentreppe und Mattenlift. Vorgestern war es schön sonnig und warm und der Wintertag leuchtete in Herbstfarben.
When there are votations in Bern, (thursday and wednesday) you can walk through e very elegant old house into a garden with a phantastic view. Thursday it was sunny and warm. And the wall is comfortable to sketch on. The framework in front of the big wall is an escalator. An old man is working there, the whole day up and down, connecting two quarters. There are also old stairs with a roof.
